A three-day workshop titled "Scope of Design in Civil Engineering Using E-Tabs" was organised for B. Tech. Civil Engineering students at DVSIET, Meerut, from November 17–19, 2022, by the Department of Civil Engineering in collaboration with the CADD Centre, Meerut. Mr. Sirish Khanna, Manager of CADD Centre, organised a team of two for the workshop. This workshop is intended to acquaint civil engineering students with the most recent design software available for the field.
Day 1, the resource team introduced the fundamental concepts of building design using E-Tabs, including geometric modelling of structures, loading on structures, analysis and design, wind load, and seismic load design. This software helps in the design of structures by applying wind and seismic forces in addition to normal loading conditions.
