Dewan VS Institute of Engineering & Technology is on an enthralling path of growth and development since its establishment in 2007. The Institute owns the lush green campus on 77 acres of land. It is located on Delhi-Mussorie Highway (near the junction point of Delhi-Meerut Expressway & proposed Meerut South Station of Rapid Rail Transport System) in the prominent industrial city of Uttar Pradesh- Meerut, hardly 65 Kilometers from the heart of National Capital, Delhi.
The institute is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree with Honors program in Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program with a specialization in Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, and Operations management, and Masters of Computer Application (MCA) program.
Students, faculty members, and resources/instruments/apparatus are the most important elements of an academic system. We work to strengthen them all with time. We have established Incubation Centre under the aegis of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, Centre for Skill Development under the aegis of National Skill Development Corporation, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Student Chapter of Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), Local Chapter of National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India), and Students Chapter of Meerut Management Association, etc.
Our institute has signed MOU with Indian Institute of Technology Bombay for spoken tutorial classes, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) for conducting entrepreneurship awareness camps and course, Meerut Management Association (MMA), Geological Society of India (GSI), Redhat Academy, S.O. Infotech, Dayal Spun Pipes, Omake Healthcare, and Crystal Precision, etc. for the overall development and placements of the students.
Many of our students and faculty members have been certified with Gold, Silver, and Elite certifications in different technical skill programs through massive open online platform-National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning.
Students sharpen their technical skills with five dedicated technical clubs- C V Raman Technical Club & Eco Club (under the aegis of Department of Applied Sciences), Sir M Visvesvaraya Technical Club (under the aegis of Department of Civil Engineering), Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical Club (under the aegis of Department of ECE & EE), Vikram Sarabhai Technical Club (under the aegis of Department of Mechanical Engineering), S. Ramanujan Technical Club and Code-warm club (under the aegis of Department of CSE & IT) respectively. To develop the basic acumen of students, five dedicated Tinkering Labs have also been established.
