In the study of heat transfer, fins are surfaces that extend from an object to increase the rate of heat transfer to or from the environment by increasing convection. One-day Hands-on Workshop on “Heat Transfer through Extended Surfaces under different Boundary Conditions under the aegis of Vikram Sarabhai Technical Club was organized on 7th September 2019.
